Gladfield Chocolate Light is produced in a similar way to Dark Chocolate Malt but it is roasted at a lower temperature producing a lighter colour.
Gladfield Chocolate Light malt is dark and adds fantastic roasted and espresso coffee like flavours to your beer.
Gladfield have perfected a unique roasting process that keeps the husk moist during the roast which limits the formation of bitter and astringent flavours resulting in it imparting a smooth roast flavour to the beer. A great addition to stouts and porters.
